Sylvia Denson, the founder of Denson’s Catering and Event Planning, We cater to a wide variety of foods, from homemade deep-fried ribs to hand-breaded tilapia tacos. Self-taught in the culinary arts Sylvia started the business in 2013. Since starting the business, she has catered numerous events in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, area while also running a daily food truck business.
Denson’s Catering and Event Planning is known for catering annual corporate parties, weddings, birthdays, reunions, and banquets. We love taking part in local and city events such as the Shepard Express Street Wars, the Milwaukee Bucks Block Party, and Kohl’s Corporate Food Truck Event, just to name a few.

THE DENSON’S CATERING STORY
It all began with me watching and learning from my mother as a young girl growing up and helping her in the kitchen. She taught me everything I know about cooking, and it quickly became a passion.
I met the love of my life, who is now my husband, at a young age, and we both shared the same dream of one day becoming restaurant owners. Our passions began in our own home’s kitchen, where we prepared most of our holiday and family meals, were never afraid to try new things, and even received requests to prepare meals for others.
It was a great pleasure to hear the response from so many people about how delightful the dishes were that we prepared. Many people’s opinions and positive feedback provided us with the necessary motivation to pursue our dream of becoming proud owners of a food truck on wheels without hesitation.
